Situated on the edge of Oakham in Rutland, we have found a fantastic new site offering Global Birdfair space for our visitors and exhibitors to enjoy gathering together.
We have car parking on site for everyone with a hard track to access the main Global Birdfair event area.
The event area and car parking areas are on grass surfaces.
Disabled access is available - please do let us know in advance if you have any specific requirements for to enable you to access the event. One complimentary ticket is available for an adult unable to attend Global Birdfair unaided. Necessary documentation must be shown at the gate eg Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility
No dogs other than assistance dogs are allowed on site, including camping and camper van areas.
Drinking water is available on the site
Camping is available with access to a shower block - places must be booked in advance. We will advise when booking is open for this facility.
Camper vans are allocated parking on a tarmac parking area - places must be booked in advance
A cash machine is available at the BP garage opposite the main Showground entrance
Wifi is available at extra cost to all exhibitors
On site catering offers food and drink for sale to all as well as a fully licensed bar throughout the operating hours of Global Birdfair. Age restrictions apply to alcohol purchases.
Please advise any catering outlet of food allergies before you make your purchase.
We cannot be responsible for any issues relating to food or drink bought and/or consumed on the premises.
Any lost children should be taken to the information area near the main entrance.
We do not provide any other childcare facilities.
We have emergency medical cover on site at all times during the public opening hours of the event.
Please find a member of site staff if you need urgent medical assistance
Global Birdfair limited is not responsible for the loss or damage of any item of property or for injury sustained by any visitor to Global Birdfair at any time during, before or after the event.
You enter the site at your own risk and must inform site staff who will be wearing high visibility jackets if you feel there is any situation affecting the safety of those people attending the fair.
The event has been notified to Rutland County Council.
Please adhere to any instructions you are given by any members of staff, volunteers or site helpers. They are there to assist in the smooth running and safety of all those attending.

Global Birdfair will be held on 15, 16 & 17 July 2022 at Rutland Showground, Oakham, Rutland LE15 7TW
Global Birdfair will be open to the public each day from 9am until 5:30pm. Last admission 4pm
We request that all members of the public leave the site at closing time unless you have a ticket for an evening event.
Please buy your tickets in advance
We will operate card only ticket purchases on the gate
If you are attending an evening event please ensure you have a ticket which must be bought in advance and shown on request.
How to get to Global Birdfair 2022
There is ample car parking on site at no charge.
Taxis will use a drop off point near the main entrance to the show ground; there will be a short walk to the Global Birdfair site.
Buses and trains operate to Oakham.
Airports - the nearest airport is East Midlands airport. Stansted and Birmingham Airports are accessible by train to Oakham Station.
We have a shuttle bus available between Oakham Railway Station and the Global Birdfair site at Rutland Showground. First Shuttle around 8:30am from Oakham Station - running on 15, 16 and 17 July.

Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.
To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book below. The charity asks £30 for an electric scooter and £10 for a manual wheelchair.
