Bid for the chance to take home an exceptionally rare bottle of Darwin’s Botanicals Gin,
handcrafted in small batches by Falkland Islands Distillers in the remote and wildlife-rich
Falkland Islands.
This fragrant artisan gin is infused with locally foraged botanicals, including diddle-dee
berries, tea berries and scurvy grass, creating a distinctive flavour profile with mellow
sweet and bittersweet notes that capture the essence of the islands.
What makes this prize truly special? Darwin’s Botanicals Gin is not currently exported
overseas, meaning the usual way to secure a bottle is to travel to the Falkland Islands
yourself. Thanks to Falkland Islands Holidays (Robin Marquee), one bottle has been
carefully hand-carried all the way from Stanley to Rutland especially for Global Birdfair
2026, giving one lucky bidder a rare opportunity to own and savour this unique spirit.
By placing a bid, you won’t just be bidding on an extraordinary gin—you’ll also be helping
to support Global Birdfair’s conservation mission, with proceeds contributing to this year’s
BirdLife International conservation project.
Raise a glass to conservation and take home a taste of the Falklands. Bid generously!
