The lodge is located in 50 acres of private grounds with fantastic birding opportunities on site. To date we have recorded over 200 species within the lodge grounds, some of which include Brassy-breasted Tanager, Blue Manakin, Black-billed Scythebill, Variegated Antpitta, Maroon-bellied Parakeet, Blond-crested Woodpecker, Spot-billed Toucanet, Saffron Toucanet, Bertoni's Antbird, Giant Antshrike, Long-trained Nightjar, Bare-throated Bellbird and Swallow-tailed Cotinga!
The lodge has very productive feeding stations which attract various species of colourful tanagers, these together with our hummingbird feeders attracting species such as White-throated Hummingbird, Brazilian Ruby, Violet-capped Woodnymph and Black Jacobin provide great photographic opportunities.
